Lake Louise is situated in the beautiful Banff National Park and has one of the largest ski areas in North America. The Lake, which can be found by the Victoria Glacier is widely known and photographed for it’s beauty. From every chair lift you can find a different level of run so even beginners can enjoy the mountain to its fullest. There are many gentle slopes and long runs which are suitable for beginners and intermediates. More advanced skiers can take advantage of the 53 advanced runs that Lake Louise has to offer. There are also steep mogul fields and wide powder bowls to enjoy. There are limitless off-piste opportunities for those people looking for adventure. Lake Louise - Town

Lake Louise is not a large and lively resort like it’s neighbour Banff but it does offer charm and tranquillity. There are a variety of shops for some retail therapy and there are various of restaurants to choose from.

Activities

There are many activities you can enjoy if you want a break from skiing. There is dog sledding, cross-country skiing, ice-skating, sleigh rides, skidoos and snowshoeing. There is also an indoor pool and a gym as well as walking trails and paragliding on offer in Lake Louise and the surrounding areas.
