The Marmot Basin Ski area is only a 20 minute ride away from the rustic town of Jasper. Once you arrive at the Marmot Basin you can ski straight onto a chair lift that will take you to enjoy one of the 84 slopes that Jasper has to offer. All this is set in the stunning Jasper National Park with its frozen lakes, glaciers and waterfalls which are all carefully conserved and so add to the whole experience.

It is known for it’s relaxed un-crowded atmosphere on the slopes and all the skiing areas are easily accessible. There is an equal split between the levels of runs that vary from long and gentle beginner runs to high alpine bowls for more advanced skiers.
