Breuil Cervinia is an intermediate skiers paradise with an incredible vertical drop of 1956 m from Plateau Rosà to Valtournenche. On a single run you can ski for 20 kilometres and a descent of 2000 metres! It is an unforgettable destination with high, sunny and snow-sure slopes.

In Breuil Cervinia you are really spoilt for choice of long, mostly moderate runs. For beginners there are a range of gentle slopes and greater challenges await advanced skiers on the Zermatt side of the mountain with some steep and narrow pistes. There are also two snow parks.
Since 1947 Breuil-Cervinia has become the home of Speed Skiing and hosts an incredible race each year where atheletes compete to try to beat the champion Simone Origone and his record speed of 251km/h.

Breuil Cervinia - Town

The high-altitude combined with snow-sure skiing is the main motivation for skiers to spend their holidays in Breuil Cervinia. The town is situated at 2050m and is one of the highest resorts in the Alps. This world famous resort is known as “The Sunny Side of the Matterhorn” and is connected to well known Zermatt. There are some spectacular breathtaking views.

Activities

The range off-piste activities is immense in Breuil-Cervinia. Cross-country skiing is possible all through the season at the high altitude of 2050 meters. Heliskiing, paragliding, ice skating, swimming, mountaineering and horse riding are only some of the the suggested activities. Those more culturaly minded should take the bus to Aosta to visit the fascinating Roman ruins.
